Saturday June 29 from 6:30 p.m., African dance and percussion workshops.

Galagne Rose led by Arona N’Diaye as well as Capoeiragem Tournefeuille led by Maromba and Quero Ver will present the Ndadié Thiossan show. The evening will take place at Place de Graus, in front of the Pahin neighborhood center. The theme of the show is the mixture of cultures: from African percussion and dance to capoeira which has its origins in senzalas, accommodation for African slaves from the time of colonial Brazil. An exceptional guest will be present: Demba Kante, who is a composer and keyboardist artist.

The show will be followed by a meal offered by the Galagne Rose association. On the menu: chicken yassa with lemon sauce. The price of the meal is €11 for adults and children aged 9 and over, €8 for children aged 7 to 9, free for children under 7. The association also offers exotic drinks (Bissab, Ginger): €7 per 1.5 liter bottle.

Arona N’Diaye, organizer of this show, is a renowned percussionist as well as an outstanding dancer. He is a teacher and teaches at the Pahin neighborhood center. Maromba and Quero Ver are the two teachers of the Capoeiragem Tournefeuille association. They teach capoeira, a living art linking musicality, bodily dialogue, wrestling, dance, theatricality and fun to children and adolescents at the Pahin neighborhood center as well as to adults at the Quéfets neighborhood center.
