Large solidarity toy collection: 5 collection points in Vaucluse

Eco-organisms ecosystem et Ecomaison are organizing a large collection of second-hand toys throughout from Saturday November 16 to Monday December 9. Of the 700 collection points, five will be placed in . There will also be some among our and Bucco-Rhodan neighbors.

The 'Let Your Heart Speak' operation, organized every year for 15 years on the occasion of European Waste Reduction Week which takes place from November 16 to 24, allows toys to be given a second life. The opportunity for the French to empty their cupboards, but also to do a good deed as Christmas approaches. Previous editions have collected more than 18,650 baskets, the equivalent of 292 tonnes of games and toys.

All unused toys are accepted, whether electric, electronic, wooden, construction, board, or fabric. It can also be puzzles, dolls, costumes, or something else. The donations will be entrusted to 90 charitable associations such as the Red Cross, Emmaus, Restos du Cœur, Secours Catholique, Secours Populaire and many others, who will sort them, complete them, test them, clean them and rehabilitate them in order to offer them to low-income families or resell them at solidarity prices.

Collection points in Vaucluse

In Vaucluse, five collection points will allow toys to be dropped off from Saturday November 16 to Saturday November 30:

  • Lauris recycling center (Ancienne Route de Puget, Lauris) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Recycling center e Vaugines (RD45, La grande Garrigue, Vaugines) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Collection points in Bouches-du-Rhône and Gard

Collection points will also be set up in neighboring departments, notably in Bouches-du-Rhône from Tuesday November 19 to Sunday December 8:
