The criminal court of Nantes sentenced, Wednesday November 6, 2024, a dealer from Saint-Colomban to six months in prison and a ban on returning to Machecoul-Saint-Meme (Loire-Atlantique) for the next two years, after his mistress denounced his drug traffickingrelate l’agence PressPepper.
A 22 long rifle
The soldiers had in fact found cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy in the apartment rented by the latter, but also a carabine 22 long rifle equipped with a charger and a silencer.
They had actually come to this 32-year-old young woman's house after her neighbors “complained” about “nuisance” coming from her home.
She then “spontaneously” gave the gendarmes the name of her companion with whom she had just had “an argument” about “another relationship” that the person concerned had.
This “former” drug user had initially met him through the father of her 2-year-old son, for whom he was already the dealer…
She therefore told the gendarmes that she had been “more or less forced to accept” this drug trafficking in his apartment.
Already condemned twice by the courts for “insults” and “rebellion”, she was also not unaware of the presence of the weapon, since she had photo taken with “for hunting friends”…
The dealer “friend” with a fifty-year-old under guardianship
But she “got scared” when “a bundle of €20,000” “disappeared” from her apartment. “Even today, it is me who is accused of having stolen the money, even though not at all! », she certified at the bar of the Nantes criminal court, Wednesday November 6.
In the meantime, the gendarmes were able to make a overlap with another investigation that they had opened for drug trafficking, this time concerning the young mother's “upstairs neighbor”: in the context of “surveillance” of the “comings and goings” of this disabled man and placed under curatorship, they had noticed the presence of the accused.
Aged 29, this father of three children first assured that this man placed under guardianship was above all “a friend”, despite their “small age difference”: this “young old man” must be “50 – 60 years old,” he estimated.
The defendant also distinguished himself during his judicial review by going with his “official partner” to Machecoul, even though he had been prohibited from doing so: the couple had in fact to “take out home insurance” for their new accommodation in Saint-Colomban.
“Saint-Colomban is 27 km from Machecoul… But it was too tempting for him! However, it was not complicated to respect”, had therefore castigated the public prosecutor.
“Local drug trafficking”
In the end, the man had “really done everything” to be issued “a committal warrant”: he compiled his five criminal “histories”, one “weapon possession” and “drug trafficking”.
But for this “local drug trafficking”, which spread “from time to time to the Machecoul station”, the prosecution finally requested ten months in prison and the revocation of a previous suspended sentence, without a committal warrant.
For his mistress, he had requested four months in prison and the revocation of two months of suspended prison sentence.
In addition to his six months in prison and the revocation of his suspended sentence, the defendant was finally sentenced to a ban on appearing in Machecoul for two years, otherwise he would risk serving three months in prison.
Immediately, he was summoned before a sentence enforcement judge (JAP) to see if he can serve his imprisonment in an alternative form to ordinary detention. The judgment was provisionally enforced, meaning it applies now, even if he appeals it.
The Saint-Colomban dealer will also have prohibited from contacting his mistress again for three years.
The person concerned was sentenced to four months in prison with suspended probation, accompanied by an obligation to work and an obligation to receive psychological care.
