The general meeting of the association “La Petite Maison” chaired by Jacquie Beaurain took place this Friday June 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Foyer du Fort in Montauban in the presence of around twenty volunteer members, Angèle Louchart and Luce Berger town hall de Montauban, Alain Drocour Red Cross, Franck Rivière director of the Beausoleil remand center, and Céline Maudry Spip 82. La Petite Maison, with 15 years of existence, welcomes the families of people detained at the Montauban Prison while waiting for a visiting room, or after a visiting room on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 20 rue Jacques Portal . Visitors are welcomed anonymously and with respect, without distinction of origin, nationality, religion, or custom. If the activity of the Petite Maison was strongly impacted by the health crisis, we can now note a return to normal with for the year 2023, 1,223 people welcomed (including 281 children, compared to 578 in 2022). On the financial side, the operating budget is around 8,000 euros made up mainly of subsidies (Ministry of Justice, Grand Montauban, Departmental Council).
