This Monday, firefighters carried out a rather unusual rescue. Indeed, a family who was walking in the streets of Montcy-Notre-Dame, near Charleville-Mézières (Ardennes), informed them of the presence of a cat in a buried glass container. The feline was quickly recovered, report our colleagues from The Ardennes.
As the family prepares to throw glass bottles in the trash, meows coming from the container call out to them. Surprised, one of the children takes a look. He sees a large gray cat trapped among the shards of glass. The alert was given around 3 p.m.
The cat did not stay in the container for long
The firefighters arrive on site. They plunge a pole fitted with a noose into the dumpster to try to catch the animal. The fishing is good. A few seconds later, the unfortunate man was hoisted up and taken out of danger. Barely released, the cat, surely disturbed by all this commotion, instantly fled the scene.
In the neighborhood, a question is on everyone's lips: Who owns this cat? But above all, did he put himself in this situation alone or was he “helped”? The neighborhood is continuing its investigation. In any case, the feline, which appeared to be in good health, has not been seen since its misadventure.
