At the same time, the Turkish state extensively bombed civilian structures in the liberated and self-administered regions of North and East Syria. He also launched a repressive offensive against democratically elected mayors in the Kurdish towns of Êlih, Xelfetî and Mêrdîn, dismissing them from office.
In this way, the Turkish state continues to show its true face, that of fascism which seeks to erase the Kurdish question by all means. For this solution to be political and democratic, it calls for a massive international reaction.
