The director of a nursery in Magnanville () and a childcare assistant working in the establishment were placed under judicial supervision after their custody last week. They are suspected of having been involved in the mistreatment of several babies, reports The Parisian this Monday. At least eight families have filed complaints.

“Today you are going to suffer”

They accuse the director of having remained without reaction to the bullying, insults and violence that the employee allegedly committed at the crèche from October 2021 to June 2024. A mother claimed that the accused had yelled at her son and called him a “dirty baby” and forced him to stand on a table. “Today, you are going to suffer,” the childcare worker is said to have told another child.

The latter's diaper was not changed when necessary and the employee called him an “ass licker”. The two women will soon appear in court, to the relief of the plaintiffs, who also consider the group managing the crèche responsible. “The safety and well-being of the children we welcome are our top priority,” the company said last September.
