Beaujolais Nouveau celebrated with dignity in these communes

Among all the local initiatives to celebrate the release of beaujolais nouveauit is possible to note those of the Corrobert festival committee and the commune of Montmirail.

Indeed, for 60 years, the third Thursday in November is the day of the worldwide release of this wine. The territory of the south-west Marne and particularly that of the Community of communes of Brie Champenoise (CCBC) therefore could not miss the event.

In Corrobert on Friday November 22

The festival committee Corrobert organizes a special evening for the arrival on the stalls of this particular wine. It will take place on Friday November 22at 7:30 p.m., at the village town hall. For €8, participants will be able to taste a glass of this wine accompanied by a plate of cold meats and cheese. Children are not forgotten! The wine is replaced by a glass of a soft drink for €4.

To participate, you must reserve your place before November 14 at 06 74 94 51 82.

In Montmirail on November 23 and 25

The town of Montmirail will also celebrate the release of Beaujolais Nouveau. This will take place with a drink offered by the city the Saturday 23 and Monday 25 November on Place Rémy Petit during the market. The meeting is set for 11 a.m.

Other operations are currently being organized and the message is the same for everyone: this wine, like all alcohols, should be consumed in moderation!
