Follow The Awakening of Pont-Audemer
Good news for the professional integration sector in the areas of Pont-Audemer, Beuzeville and Menneval in Eure. This Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the judicial court rendered its decision concerning the safeguard procedure of the Iter'action Parec association.
A well-known organization in the sector, with its two second-hand clothes stores in Pont-Audemer, its Ecospace store in Beuzeville and its resource center in Menneval.
Trade-in offers accepted
Here is an excerpt from the court's decision:
Partial transfer offers presented by Sdomode and by the Étre et travail association are admissible.
Thus, the court “stops the partial transfer plans”, that is to say that theThe candidates will resume Iter'action activities.
Thus, the Sdomode (Household waste destruction union in the west of the Eure department) takes over the assets and activities carried out on the sites of With Menneval (which he had created) and from Pont-Audemer.
Being and work, integration association based in Honfleur, takes over those of the Beuzeville site.
56 employees planned in Menneval
In a press release sent shortly before the decision, Sdomode specified that if its offer was accepted, it would create an integration project. The organization also obtained “Workshop and Workplace Integration” approval from the Eure prefecture on October 10, before submitting its offer.
The Menneval resource center will once again employ former Iter'action employees : 3 technical supervisors, 2 professional integration advisors, 4 professional technicians in charge of technical training (and a fifth is planned later). The resource center will also employ 40 part-time employees in integration,25 hours per week. For a total of 56 employees.
74 employees in Pont-Audemer
In Pont-Audemer, “the start date of the Sdomode integration project is set for January 1, 2025 » specified the union.
Employees in integration will once again be integrated into the Sdomode fiber sorting center (papers and cardboard boxes from voluntary drop-off points made available to citizens, sorting of office papers, sorting and destruction of confidential archives, packaging and baling of cardboard and polystyrene).
Note that Sdomode was the main client of the Parec-Iter'action association for these activities, within the framework of public contracts. In the first half of 2024, Parec, faced with its operating difficulties, also ended an agreement to provide personnel to the SDOMODE fiber sorting center.
The Sdomode saves in any case 74 jobs on the Pont-Audemer sites, including 53 in integration.“Apart from the technical manager, the “textile sector” referent and two professional technicians already part of the Sdomode workforce, all positions are occupied by former employees of Parec'Iteraction,” specifies the union.
Concerns in Beuzeville
In the Ecospace store in Beuzeville, there were only a handful of permanent employees left. “We are very happy for the people in integration,” they react to the announcement of the resumption.
However, they are now worried about their own positions: “The stress is still there, and we don’t have any information yet. » The Awakening of Pont-Audemer has at this time failed to contact the integration association Étre et travail which has taken over the site.
