The Telethon is back in Athis-de-l'Orne (Orne). After several years without an event, the village of Orne is mobilizing for a good cause, Sunday December 8, 2024. For the occasion, four Athisian associations unite: Against cancer I'm going, Running in the bocage, Generations movement and US Athis football.

Open to everyone

On the program of the event, two hikes (6 and 9 km) and a jogging (9 km) in the Athis woods. “It’s open to everyone. The routes are guided with a guide,” explains Jacques Nevoux. A minimum contribution of €5 is required.

And challenge inside the wood will punctuate the morning: “it’s a one-kilometer loop to be covered as many times as possible. » Refreshment bar and catering are provided on site with sandwiches and sausages.

Four associations come together

The project was born during the general assembly of Générations Mouvement. “The idea is to gather strengthby involving the different associations in the area,” explains Michel David, president of Générations Mouvement du canton d’Athis. “Everyone should feel concerned about these things. »

Sunday December 8, 2024. Meet in the d’Athis parking lot. 9 km hike: departure 9:30 a.m., 6 km hike: departure 10 a.m., 9 km jogging: departure 10:15 a.m. + challenge inside the woods. Participation €5 minimum.
