Circulation is done by alternated and parking is strictly prohibited for the duration of the work. The residents directly concerned had already been informed by a previous notice.
In order to continue this work, additional parking and traffic restrictions will be necessary in the following weeks.
The repair of the roundabout of the Fourmis craft zone will take place from Friday, November 22, from 4 p.m., to Saturday, November 23, at 6 a.m., which will make the activity zone inaccessible by the departmental road RD 976.
Diversion for all
Finally, from Monday, November 25, from 7 a.m., to Thursday, November 28, at 6 p.m., the departmental road RD 976 will be closed from the roundabout of the artisanal zone of Fourmis to the roundabout located at the intersection of rue de Bagnoles-de-l'Orne-Normandie and rue de la Gare (RD 53) in order to allow the repair of the surface.
Traffic and parking will then be strictly prohibited for everyone, including local residents, during this period.
Diversion routes will be put in place by the Department's services for all vehicles (two-wheelers, cars, trucks). They will be in both directions from Domfront-en-Poiraie and Couterne, via La Ferté-Macé, on the RD 908 and 916.
“Aware of the inconvenience caused, we are doing everything we can to reduce as much as possible the disruption linked to this work” underlines Philippe Turcan, mayor of Rives-d'Andaine, in a letter addressed to residents of rue d'Alençon.
