Three police officers injured, one seriously, in a road accident during an intervention

A road accident occurred on Sunday November 10 at the end of the day in (Haute-Savoie), leaving four people injured. Two vehicles, including one police vehicle, collided at the intersection of rue Jean-Baptiste-de-Charcot and route de Livron, specifies The Dauphiné.

The police officers on board a screen-printed vehicle, whose flashing lights were in operation, were on intervention at the time of the accident. The police were trying to arrest a driver who refused to comply, according to a source close to the case.

The driver of the second vehicle was under the influence of cannabis at the time of the accident and refused priority, adds Éric Henry. This motorist was not injured in the collision, according to the same source. He was taken into custody. An investigation has been opened.
