This is a national issue. For fishing enthusiasts and defenders of biodiversity, monitoring changes in the temperature of waterways has become a very useful additional lever to shed light on the impact of their warming on the fish population. And, ultimately, adapt (re)population and water management policies at the watershed scale. In , certain departmental fishing federations have already been involved in this monitoring for several years and other organizations such as the French Biodiversity Office (OFP) or water agencies are carrying out their own observation work.
