As part of the autonomy professions week (November 4-8), the Optéo Foundation is actively engaged on this theme, initiated by the autonomy professions platform of the Aveyron department, to highlight highlighting professions that are meaningful and essential to the well-being and support of vulnerable people.

The Optéo Foundation, faithful to its values, acts every day to build an inclusive society and guarantee the quality of life for all. Working in the professions of autonomy and support (nurses, nurses, educational and social support, etc.) means joining a growing sector, serving others, with local and varied jobs.

Presentation day

Thus, the establishments of the Optéo Foundation mobilized, as was the case at the IEM Les Babissous in Saint-Mayme, which offered a day of presentation and awareness, this Tuesday. A guided tour of the establishment was organized and it was the children themselves who showed their daily lives to the Terminale ASSP students of the Lycée Louis Querbes.

After a very enriching exchange between young people and high school students, everyone was able to watch or participate in awareness workshops led by Handisport and in particular a demonstration of boccia, a sport that many discovered during the 2024 Games, thanks to the magnificent performance from the woman who became Paralympic champion: Aurélie Aubert…
