At the end of the suspense, Aubusson wins the Creuse Cup against Guéret

They all expected it. Each of the players knew that this final match of the Creuse Cup was going to be undecided from start to finish. This, despite the two divisions between Guéret playing in Regional 1 and Aubusson in Regional 3.

A sluggish match

Although the Yellow and Blue controlled the game at the start of the match by posting the first shot on target in the 18th minute, Aubusson, well in place defensively, took advantage of each counter-attack to worry the Guérétois goalkeeper. Two failures from Guémas and Suard in front of the goals gave victory to the Aubusson team, whose very prolific Cissé had just confirmed with the final shot on goal which went into the back of the net.

After a fully successful season having achieved a promotion to Regional 2, the Aubussonnais managed to finish it in the most beautiful way by winning the 2024 Creuse Cup. At the end of the suspense.
