It is Mayor Jean-Yves Ravier who opens the announcement of the programming of the fourth edition of the Lons electronic festival with these words: “We have supported this project from its beginnings and today have no regrets, it It is our role to support the actors who bring the region to life. »

“Territorial influence”

In fact, the festival grows in size year after year. During the first edition, seven artists were invited. This year, in October, there will be 24 of them, spread across the three stages of Juraparc. One more than in the previous edition.

If the public is already mainly from Lyon and Paris, note the organizers, this year they want to further strengthen the image of Lons-le-Saunier outside the department. It is indeed a “territorial influence” which is brought about by this festival, underlines a representative of Ecla.

Programming open to Europe

Loïc Pernaudet and Tristan Reffay, creators of the event, as well as Pierre-Emmanuel Govindama, new president of Peacock Events, announce their headliners: Feder, Joachim Garraud, Floorfilla and D-Fence. With a varied program, the festival is both a springboard for local DJs (MØRA, Alessi, Valenty), and a place to discover European electro with artists from Italy, Germany, the Low or even from Sweden. Two artists are still unknown and will be announced in the coming weeks.

The objective this year is to reach 3,000 spectators, while strengthening security, one of the biggest items of expenditure. “We are confident: the event is starting to make a name for itself, and places are selling out even before the program is revealed,” concludes Pierre-Emmanuel Govindama.
