Police officers discover 40 firearms and drugs at the home of a Drôme resident

It’s a real “Alibaba’s cave” that police officers discovered at the home of a resident of Portes-lès-. This Tuesday, November 5, police from Drôme entered the home of this 41-year-old man to a search in a drug case where he is only a secondary protagonist. They don't expect their discovery at all.

More specifically, the police discovered 27 long guns, 12 handguns and a submachine gun. The man had authorizations to possess certain rifles but not for all weapons.

There are also many different drugs: 5.5 kilos of herbal cannabis, 1.2 kilos of cannabis resin, 280 ecstasy tablets, more than 100 grams of MDMA. The forty-year-old also cocaine, heroin and 20 cannabis plants at his home.

In police custody, the man recognized sell drugs. He will be tried in immediate appearance and has been placed in pre-trial detention.
