HIGHLIGHTS

In this first timed special, the outsiders are in great shape with the scratch for Pablo Sarrazin, beginner in Fabia RS, followed by Hugo Louvel, also beginner in Fabia Evo. Behind this duo, a third stands out with Charles Munster.

Opener for his return to earth after three years of absence, Léo Rossel is a promising sixth overall, only two seconds behind Laurent Pellier, favorite n°1 for this event.

PILOT REACTIONS

L.Rossel	It's clear that starting first on the road, we have no grip. I think we're going to get smashed because I'm taking up so much space on the road!
L.Pellier	I had pop-off openings from the start and we had to play with the ALS. I lost concentration a little and we spun and reversed. Very bad.
E.Gascou	Difficult for a first, I stalled at the start. I'm stuck in a pin. I spin and stall again. At least 30s I think.
P.Ragues	It was a big warm-up. We had a lot of dust in the second part because Manu (Gascou) missed his start.
S.Rumeau	First special not easy. We really got caught in a hairpin and I had to back up twice. It's a shame because I think we rode well.
C. Casanova	Very hard special to start with.
P. Sarrazin	We were embarrassed by Casanova, but that's how it is. We're having fun. We missed a bit of a pin.
H.Louvel	Nickel. We went straight into the vineyards because I braked a little too late.
