The Entente Nord Lozère meets the Fraternelle Amicale Le Cendre (Regional 2), Saturday November 9, 2024 at 6 p.m., at the Jean-Jaurès du Cendre stadium.
For its seventh Regional 2 meeting, the Entente Nord Lozère travels to Puy-de-Dôme, to face the Fraternelle Amicale Le Cendre. After six days and despite a complicated start to the championship, the Énélistes are in fourth position in the general classification, just two points from the podium.
Maintain good momentum
After a first success at home last weekend against Blavozy, the objective for the Lozériens is to maintain good momentum and maintain this good result. The Cendrilloux remain on a defeat in the Laura Cup and are not in a good position in the championship, but the Barraban and Saint-Albanian players know that it is a difficult team to tackle on their home field.
Indeed, after their defeat in the last match, the Cinder players will want to get their heads back in the championship and risk arriving more determined than ever.
A taste of revenge
This meeting will have a taste of revenge for the green and white. During the previous season, the Lozériens suffered a 3-2 defeat against Ash, after a very poor performance. A defeat which surely cost the Énélistes the title.
“Last year we had a catastrophic match, said ENL coach Lilian Condon. ÇIt was a turning point in the season, the players remember it and want to take their revenge.”
No big changes are to be noted in the Lozère squad, apart from in the event of a last minute injury. But there will surely be some rotations on the bench to give playing time to certain players and allow them to keep the rhythm. The possible return of Théo Robert is also expected after good performances in the reserve team, noticed by the coach.
The Lozériens hope to start another good series before hosting FC Riom next weekend in the Laura Cup.
