La Maison Nord Emploi du Douaisis and France Travail are stepping up their actions this week to support 300 RSA recipients towards employment or training.
The Nord Department and France Travail are organizing, from November 6 to 13, a series of events for Active Solidarity Income (RSA) recipients. This 6e Réussir Sans Attendre week connects beneficiaries of the allowance, entrepreneurs, training organizations and public services with a common ambition: a return to employment.
7,750 RSA beneficiaries were therefore prepared to participate in one of the 1,000 recruitment, training, service offering or job discovery actions organized with the 340 partner companies and the 185 training operators.
” Succeeding Without Waiting week is a success accelerator that has proven itself in recent years, underlines Christian Poiret, president of the Department. The return to employment is a first step towards the well-being of Northerners.
The Department is at their side to help them take this step!“
Since taking office in July 2021, Christian Poiret has made the return to employment of RSA recipients a priority. The figures prove him right: 116,000 households supported in 2016; 90,000 in 2024. The 2023 edition of the “Succeed Without Waiting” week enabled 3,256 Northerners to return to employment or training. The objective is of course for the Maisons Nord Emploi and France Travail teams to do at least as well this year.
” This week is a real lever to facilitate meetings between RSA beneficiaries and businesses, explains Gaëtane Bernard, Territorial Director of France Travail Nord. The actions organized in collaboration with the Department and our partners, during this week but also throughout the year, fully promote the return to employment of beneficiaries. “
Release all brakes
This is of course the case within the Maison Nord Emploi (MNE) in Douasis. Around thirty employees from the Department guide, support, coach and provide personalized assistance to beneficiaries throughout the year. ” We carry out lace work alongside companies It is tailor-made for all beneficiaries of Douaisis Agglo, the CCCO and the 9 municipalities of the Pévèle-Carembault Community of Communes in our district “, underlines Catherine Szat, the head of the structure located in Douai.
And Caroline Sanchez, departmental advisor, clarified: “ This specific support includes regaining self-confidence, childcare, car loans and mobility. ” This makes it possible to remove obvious obstacles. That of mobility has largely been resolved in a good part of Douaisis with free bus transport.
” We see that recruiters now come to the Department because they know that beneficiaries are well prepared for returning to work. “, rejoices the elected official. And as mayor of Lambres-lez-Douai, she fully appreciates the effectiveness of the MNE, very satisfied with the current employment of an electrician and a canteen lady, until 'then RSA beneficiaries.
7 minutes to convince
Friday morning, Maison Nord Emploi du Douaisis and France Travail organized a job dating. 35 beneficiaries each had seven minutes to convince the four agencies specializing in temporary integration. An important step towards the more traditional job market. One action among others during this particularly intense Succeed Without Waiting week for the Maison Nord Emploi team. ” With France Travail, we challenged ourselves to get 300 people out of the RSA thanks to the actions carried out this weekannounces Catherine Szat. Ony puts all our energy and all our heart to get there! “
And elsewhere…
This week is full of other operations. On Wednesday, the Eclipse center in Cambrai hosted a sports tournament bringing together recruiters, and the presentation of simulators and virtual reality in logistics and transport. During this time, a focus on industry was proposed in Maubeuge and a job offer was presented by a network of inclusive companies.
And to close the week, a forum and a job dating will be organized at Val du Riot, in Caudry, with all the economic integration structures in the district. The objective will also be to remove the obstacles to returning to employment, to promote and acquire skills.
