A teacher filed a complaint at the Montreuil police station (Seine-Saint-Denis) after being slapped by a student. The latter wore an abaya.
Spit, insult, slap
Tuesday, November 5, a PE teacher from the Jean-Jaurès high school in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) was slapped by a student.
According to the channel BFMTVan altercation took place, since the high school student carried a abaya. However, this garment has been banned in public schools since September 2023.
The teenager would have explained that her outfit was authorized by the CPE (Principal Education Advisor). However, the teacher allegedly refused this justification and asked her to change. The young girl then spat on her, insulted her, then slapped her.
A complaint filed at the Montreuil police station
The professor decided to file a complaint at the Montreuil police station, accompanied by teams from the establishment. For its part, the Créteil academy offered him functional protection and psychological support. As for the high school student, she is not authorized to return to high school and will have to wait for the decision of the disciplinary council. It is also the subject of a precautionary measure.
