Following favorable analyzes concerning the levels of amnesiac toxins in scallops from Brest harbor, the prefect of Finistère decided, this Wednesday, November 6, to once again authorize their fishing and marketing.

The same goes for the burrowing shells in the “Intermediate Belon River” zone. After favorable analysis results concerning bacterial levels (E. coli) on cockles in the area, the Finistère prefecture is lifting the ban on fishing and marketing.
