LÉDIGNAN A weekend of cultural and sporting activities in support of the Roses du Gard

On November 10 and 11, the Lédign'en Scènes association chaired by Denis Maurin is organizing a program of charitable events in favor of the Roses du , a support structure for people with cancer.

Founded in November 2023, the Lédign'en Scènes association, chaired by Denis Maurin and sponsored by the Valy brothers, continues its commitment to rural areas, with its second event. After a summer marked by two exceptional theatrical performances (reread ici), the structure reaffirms its ambition. For this long weekend of November 11, Lédign'en Scènes is offering a program with a charitable dimension, this time, for the benefit of the Roses du Gard, a support association for cancer patients. The festivities will open on Sunday November 10 with the play “You have beautiful old people, you know”a comedy by Véronique Blondeau. The show will take place at the communal foyer and will welcome the public for an entry cost of 8 euros, all of the proceeds of which will therefore be donated to the Roses du Gard by Hélène Milan.

On Monday, November 11, from 9 a.m., a women's football tournament will take place at the community stadium, accompanied by various sporting activities accessible to all: cycling trips, family bike rides, 5 kilometer runs, and 9 kilometer walks… there is something for everyone. Place Roger Chabalier will host several of these events. At noon, the parade of the Majorettes of Saint-Affrique will precede the official presentation of the Les Roses du Gard association. The interventions of sophrologist Anita Perez, as well as representatives of the Judith Lafont center, will thus inform the public about the support actions carried out for people with cancer. A meal, available upon reservation at 15 euros, will then close this presentation. The afternoon will continue with a boules competition, then a defibrillator demonstration by the Lédignan firefighters. Finally, musical entertainment by JMB Musique will close this weekend.
