The suspects were stealing bottles of whiskey when police officers from the police station apprehended them after being warned by store managers.

The four people were taken into custody. Three had a valid residence permit. These permits were administratively held at the prefecture pending the result of the summons by a judicial police officer (COPJ) before the court.

An obligation to leave the territory issued

These titles could be returned, or not, following the judgment. The fourth individual, without a residence permit, was issued with an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF). He too will be judged soon.
