After five days have passed, a rather clear hierarchy begins to be established. For the Lot-et-Garonnaise teams, some are firmly established at the top of the table and will perhaps play their way to the next level. For others, the first days seem to herald a difficult season.
Six Committee 47 teams have not yet experienced defeat, three among the girls and three among the boys. Concerning the young ladies, although it should be noted that they played less than their male counterparts, there is no doubt that AC2B and Castillonnès in Regional 2, and Élan du Séguran in Regional 3, will play the leading roles throughout the season.
With two climbs per pool, these ladies have all the cards in hand to reach the next level. In this perspective, we will see even more clearly at the end of a weekend where the women of Castillonnès travel to Bénévent, and those of Élan du Séguran receive Hagetmau, two equally undefeated teams.
For the boys, Seyches (Pre-National), Agen and GAB 2 (Regional 2) have collected five victories in as many matches and intend not to stop there. What if this season was the right one for the Seychois who have been chasing accession to Nationale 3 in vain for several seasons? Everyone hopes so, even if it will be necessary to be consistent over a very long season with still 17 days to go.
Ambitious GAB 2 and ABC
Agen and GAB 2 wish to access the highest regional division and play in the same group. However, initially there will only be one elected official since only the first in the group is guaranteed to move directly into the PNM. For the runners-up, you will have to win a play-off to get your ticket.
In the same way, ES Bruilhois 2 and BBM2 (which hosts leader Orthez this weekend), with a record of four victories for one defeat, will also fight for the top of the table.
On the other side of the rankings, several teams have yet to achieve any success and are likely to suffer greatly throughout the season. This is the case of GAB 2 and CTC Village du Tonneinquais for girls, as well as Penne, l'Élan du Séguran and Port 2 for boys.
