Dakar, June 10 (APS) – The Secretary General of the National Employers’ Council (CNP), Hamidou Diop, was re-elected as a full member of the Board of Directors of the International Labor Office (ILO), for a three-year term, we learned from the Senegalese employers’ organization.

”Hamidou Diop was re-elected on 1er turn, with 75% of the votes and by secret ballot, for a mandate of 3 years as full member of the Board of Directors of the International Labor Office (ILO)”, indicates in particular the CNP in a press release sent to the APS .

He was re-elected to the ILO Governing Body for a third three-year term by ”the 150 most representative employers’ organizations in the world and members of the International Organization of Employers (IOE) have thus renewed their confidence in him” , adds the same Source.

She adds that “her candidacy was presented and very strongly supported by the president of the CNP, Baïdy Agne (…)”.

The election of members of the ILO Governing Body is being held on the occasion of the 112th session of the International Labor Organization (ILO) scheduled until June 14, in Geneva, Switzerland.

The press release recalls that in 2000, Youssoupha Wade, former president of the CNP, also sat on the Governing Body of the ILO.
