Grenoble: bus and tram traffic will resume normally on Thursday November 7, a strike planned for December

Buses and trams will once again circulate in the metropolis this Thursday, November 7. Employees, meeting in a general meeting this Wednesday afternoon, voted to return to work despite still simmering anger.

A strike action to come?

The employees are returning to work but the various meetings which have taken place since Tuesday with management have been unsuccessful. The management considers this right of withdrawal unjustified after having taken sufficient measures following the attack. The unions also denounce the fact that this right of withdrawal is not recognized and therefore that deductions from wages are made. On the one hand, a management which considers it to provide its support but which judges the action of the agents to be excessive and on the other hand, employees who do not feel listened to in the face of almost daily acts of violence and incivility, according to them. The climate therefore remains tense and employees are considering, via an inter-union association, a strike movement during the month of December.
