Maxime Lamotte or INis a local musician, singer-songwriter living in the heart of the Manche dunes in his tiny house, a wandering sanctuary from which poetic, melancholic, intense songs are born, sometimes from his dreams.
A graduate in musicology, MUNE first wrote two dissertations on music and surrealism, exploring the links between art and the unconscious.
In parallel with his individual project, he is part of the duo Abisko with Céline Léger.
A musician since he was little, he is now going solo, releasing his first single last January, followed by another. And this November 12, MUNE is releasing its premier EP Sitting on the edge of the world composed of 5 tracks mastered by Alex Gopher (Clara Luciani, Jane Birkin, Calogero, Fally Ipupa…).
Her elastic and airy voice sings of nature and society.
Songs at the crossroads of independent folk pop and new French song, his universe at times evokes the nocturnal atmosphere of artists like Agnes Obel or Tamino.
“MUNE’s creations transport us to another place, where we look as far as the eye can see, with our eyes closed. »
Meet at theOther Location in Cherbourg for a first concert on February 17, 2024!
