The Saint-Sulpice church is hosting a unique show, Cœur de Lumières, from October 16 to November 23, 2024. This experience immerses visitors in the history of the monument and that of .

For a month, the 6th arrondissement of Paris becomes the scene of an immersive historical fresco. The Saint-Sulpice church, a neoclassical jewel, is transformed to tell the story of its construction, influenced by the tensions of the Fronde and the French Revolution. More than 150 costumed figures move among the sculptures and walls, bringing to life the families and rivalries of the time.

A grandiose staging

Designed by Damien , the show uses video mapping, immersive sounds and dialogues recorded by professionals, including Annie Duperey. The monumental 360° projections cover the interior of the church, matching the performances of the actors. This combination of technologies and performances creates a total immersion of 1h30.

A journey through time

Spectators follow the history of Saint-Sulpice, from the Fronde to the beginnings of the Revolution, through a story mixing local anecdotes and national events. The costumes, original piano music and visual effects reinforce the immersion. Two performances are scheduled each evening at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Paris Cœur de Lumières offers a new perspective on this emblematic monument and invites you to rediscover Saint-Sulpice from an innovative and artistic angle. An opportunity to experience the history of Paris differently.
