The different types of accommodation:

Welcoming adults unfit for professional activity but independent in daily recreational, educational or social activities.

Medicalized Foster Homes (FAM)

Welcoming seriously disabled adults (mentally or physically) unfit for professional activity, not independent and requiring medical supervision.

Accommodation Homes (FH)

Day and night reception for disabled adults carrying out a professional activity (in ordinary or adapted environments: ESAT, formerly called CAT).

Specialized Welcoming Homes (MAS)

Welcoming adults with physical or mental disabilities or associated disabilities who are unable to perform the essential acts of everyday life (dressing, washing, etc.) who require the assistance of a third person as well as constant medical supervision and care.
