How to finance their project?
• Fundraising campaign until November 24 inclusive
• On the yuzu-lotetgaronne.org platform
• You may be awarded compensation depending on the amount invested.
• If the requested amount is not reached, contributors will be fully refunded their stake. The campaign is in fact based on the principle of “all or nothing”. The project leader must therefore achieve the objective set to receive the money.
The Yuzu “philosophy”
With Yuzu, the Departmental Council of Lot-et-Garonne invents a new tool that responds to two societal challenges: offering the opportunity to Lot-et-Garonne residents to give meaning to their savings, even with modest means, and to emerging businesses to find leverage to develop and make their activities viable.
The tool is unique in France in its design because it can operate both as a donation with counterparties and as an investment. Another Lot-et-Garonnaise specificity is the leverage effect of the community: for 1 euro citizen, the Department matches 1 euro (within the limit of €3,000 per project).
Many recognized players in solidarity finance (France Active Nouvelle-Aquitaine, “I adopt a project”, IéS) co-lead the system alongside the Departmental Council and are mobilized in the operational implementation. https://www.yuzu-lotetgaronne.org/
