“It’s a type of speed dating for businesses, but without the stopwatch. » This is how Michelle Paris-Hermann, elected to the Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMA) of Normandy, sums up Objectif artisan, the show for future artisans in Coutances (Manche). This is the 23e edition.

Dedicated to business creation and takeover, it will be held this year on Thursday November 21, 2024, in Coutances. “The objective of the show is to offer support to sellers, buyers and creators”, indicates Laurent Godin, territorial team manager at the CMA. Around fifty experts and professionals from the business world will be present.
“We don’t necessarily always realize the work to be done”
This Monday, November 4, 2024, the members of the CMA presented the main points of the day in the premises of a garage in Trelly, in the new town of Quettreville-sur-Sienne. Laurent Fournier, manager since May 2024, benefited from support from the CMA to take over the company from Pascal Lesaulnier. “It’s good to say to ourselves that we are going to start again, but we don’t necessarily always realize the work to be done,” underlines Laurent Fournier. In Manche, the CMA estimates that business takeover projects are on the rise, due to the age pyramid.
On November 21, workshops on business creation or takeover projects will be offered. New for this 2024 edition: a workshop dedicated to artificial intelligence. “The question is not to be for or against artificial intelligence, because it exists anyway. We want to show how it is possible to use it,” indicates the CMA.
In 2023, 170 project leaders or buyers attended the show.
