Things continue to move in the group of the XV of France which is preparing the matches of its autumn tour, which begins this Saturday (9 p.m.) at the Stade de France against Japan. At the end of the Top 14 day this weekend, two new players were forced to leave the group of 42 currently gathered in Marcoussis (Essonne).
Injured, Clermont pillar Régis Montagne (24 years old, 0 selection) and Toulouse second row Joshua Brennan (22 years old, 0 selection, injured in the orbital floor on Sunday against Bayonne), are out. They are replaced by Uini Atonio (34 years old, 62 caps), the experienced right pillar of La Rochelle, preserved at the start of the rally, and by the third row of Clermont Killian Tixeront (22 years old, 1 cap).
The French XV will play three matches at the Stade de France during this autumn tour, against Japan on November 9, the All Blacks on November 16 and Argentina on November 22. On this occasion, Antoine Dupont will return to the XV of France and the captaincy, after a year of absence. Fabien Galthié will announce this Thursday the group of 23 players and the composition of the starting XV who will face Japan.
