A “legends stand” of FC inaugurated at La Beaujoire

Henri Michel, Maxime Bossis, Emiliano Sala… They are now all displayed in full display at the Beaujoire stadium. This Sunday, club president Waldemar Kita inaugurated a new project, the “legends stand”, displayed behind the Océane stand. 16 players and coaches now adorn the two faces of eight pillars.

The legends displayed were selected through a vote launched at the end of August by the FC foundation. Next to 10,000 voters in total elected the 16 lucky ones, from a list of 38 names. The portraits were taken by “Ptitecao”an artist from Nantes.

Legends therefore elected by the public, and who are no longer necessarily still in this world. Eight former FC Nantes players and coaches were able to attend the ceremony and discover the works. “It's weird to see yourself like this“, testifies with a smile the great Maxime Bossis. “Coming from a small club in Vendée, I find the initiative cool. It is essential to maintain a connection and transmit this beautiful story through this type of portrait.“.
