With 4,308 participants compared to 3,616 last year, Courstache d'Aubière recorded its historic record this Sunday, November 3.

“We are progressing nicely every year. We are lucky to be able to count on our volunteers (140 for this 8th edition) and on loyal partners. The objective is to continue, perhaps up to 10,000 like Clermont en Rose! », Confided Albert Salguero, president of the ASPTT Clermont Omnisports which organizes the Courstache d'Aubière.

Running: Michel and Sapet (10 km), Legat and Olivier (5 km) win the Courstache (complete rankings)

As is the custom of this sporting event against male cancers, a large number of participants in the three races (5 km and 10 km timed or 5 km leisure) had respected the “dress code” of the mustache.

Between friends, colleagues or family, alone or in groups, participants took advantage of the generous sunshine to share a festive moment.

Last year, the race raised €45,000 which financed research as well as adapted physical activity programs and the purchase of sports equipment.
