A very expected. Two years after dazzling La Seine Musicale with the prestigious ballet of Romeo and Julietthe famous choreographer, Benjamin Millepiedsets foot again in the concert hall on Île Seguin, in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine). This time, the former director of the Paris Opera ballet has decided to tackle an American rock figure, Jeff Buckley.

This artistic composition, named Grace, Jeff Buckley Danceswill take place from Tuesday 5 to Sunday 10 November 2024. Questioned by France Info, the former dancer of New York Balletexiled in the United States for several years, confided that he wanted to create an aerial ballet, echoing “the music that flies, which almost does not touch the ground” of the guitarist and singer, whose interpretation of the title “Hallelujah” still remains memorable. GRACE remains the only album by Jeff Buckley published. Because the man died at the age of 31.
To pay tribute to him, a ten dancers will take turns in this choreography, still accessible. Tickets are on sale from 25 euros from the first day of performance. Prices go up to 125 euros for the gold category, especially on weekends. To buy them, you can go to this site.
