The Yves Nayme swimming pool in Saint-Étienne closed… due to major water damage

“A valve in the Yves Nayme swimming pool gave way during the night from Thursday to Fridayflooding all technical equipment”, indicates a press release from the city of Saint-Étienne this Saturday, November 2, specifying that this concerns in particular the motors of pond pumps, heat pumps and even electrical cabinets.

The water could be pumped but “the damage (…) are considerableand require an immediate closure of municipal equipment.

The services of the city of Saint-Étienne must carry out a more precise inventory on Monday before assessments are carried out. The town hall promises to “redeploy as many slots as possible while waiting for the repair and reopening of the swimming pool”.
