Around twenty employees gathered at 1 p.m. sharp on October 24, 2024 in Condé-en-Normandie (Calvados), for a ceremony to award the labor medals of the automotive sector company, Akwel.
This event honored nine employees who dedicated more than twenty years in the company. Journeys of a lifetime like we do more of these days.
An exemplary contribution
During this ceremony, the silver medals (20 years), vermeil (30 years), gold (35 years) and grand gold (40 years) were awarded, each recognizing decades of service and significant contribution to the company's growth.
At least twenty years of seniority
Among the silver winners, Eva Leray and Nathalie Choyer were distinguished during the ceremony.
The vermeil medals were awarded to Anita Darras and Sonia Tocquetboth with 26 years of dedication in management control and as a leading operator, respectively.
For his part, Sandrine Mercier is also on this year’s list of vermeil winners. Jacques Lesaulnier received the gold medal for 30 years in logistics first at MGI then Akwelpraised by his peers for his professionalism.
Finally, the grand gold medals honored Patrick Daguier, Eve-Lyne Gardan and Delphine Seguinrecognizing 41, 36 and 31 years of service respectively.
A speech of gratitude

A strong message which symbolizes the long-term commitment of employees in this industrial sector. According to him, this award “also symbolizes the social, cultural and moral value that work possesses ».
Although this is not the company's first medal ceremony, this was an opportunity to once again celebrate the loyalty of its most loyal employees.
