The luxurious Kimpton St Honoré Paris brings an electrifying touch to traditional holiday desserts with its Yule log 2024 in the shape of a guitar. Executive chef Nicolas Pastot transforms the classic dessert of Noël French into a remarkable dish thanks to a partnership with the legendary guitar manufacturer Gibson.
This unique creation pays homage to Gibson's famous Les Paul model, meticulously reproduced in chocolate. The base rests on a rich chocolate brownie cookie, topped with an ethereal 75% dark chocolate mousse. A generous layer of buckwheat praline adds a subtle crunch and nutty depth, while tropical fruits provide brightness with a carefully balanced insert of mango, banana, passion fruit and pineapple.
The exterior highlights the know-how of the pastry chefs with its elegant dark chocolate shell, which incorporates the characteristic curves and details of the Les Paul.
