In terms of employment, the territory of vineyard, bringing together the community of communes of Sèvre et and the agglomeration community Clisson Sèvre et Maine remains dynamic according to the antenna work (formerly Pôle emploi) of Clisson.

One of the figures that proves it isThe number of companies increased by 1.2% between June 2023 and June 2024 : the Nantes vineyard now hosts 1,710 companiesexcluding public bodies and excluding agricultural holdings. The number of employees is also increasing with 17,096 employees, or 1.6% more over the same period.

1500 job seekers

In this context, the number of unemployed in category Abringing together people who have no job and who have not worked in the current month, remains below 1,500 people (1,497). Even if it is up 1.2% compared to June 2023, the figure remains contained.

All people registered with France Travail move to 3 897 by taking all the categories (those where the person has had partial activity and additional unemployment benefit for example), a figure which is also slightly increasing (3,2 %).

This remains correct for this territory. The only point of vigilance is over the age of 50 where the number of people registered in category A increased by 6.4%. This corresponds to the increase in the number of people unfit (physically or psychologically) for their position and to the increase in recognition of the status of disabled worker.

Delphine Guémy-Legrand, director of the France travail agency in Clisson

The number of RSA beneficiaries who are looking for work remains stable on the two intermunicipalities: environ 200.

Moreover, 71% of people registered with France Travail have an open right to compensation : for comparison, this rate is only 64% in Loire-Atlantique et 50% in France.

The lower this figure is, the more it shows the level of precariousness and impoverishment of a territory.

The director

The fact that it is higher in the Nantes vineyard is another indicator of its good economic health.

THE WORLD OF TRANSPORT IS ALWAYS RECRUITING

They will have wet the jersey and shirt. The ten companies specializing in transport and logistics and the 70 people interested in the sector will have braved the wind and rain at the end of September, in the Dorices car park in Vallet, for the forum organized by the France Travail branch in Clisson, dedicated to this sector. An economic sector which seeks to recruit as there are so many needs. “An entire generation who obtained their heavy goods vehicle driving license in the army has retired, and there is no longer any military service to replace them. And then, in the west, the activity developed strongly,” summarized one executive.
This second edition brought together twice as many companies representing goods transport as well as school transport and medical transport. More potential candidates also came. In the end, the results were very positive.
“We have been busy all morning,” said Emmanuel Mabit, QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) manager and Pierre Giraud, human resources director at Douaud in Clisson. We have received people looking for jobs as road drivers as well as for administrative and logistics jobs. The profiles were very varied: people with extensive experience in the sector as well as people seeking to retrain as winegrowers and artisans.
Last year, following this first event, Transports Voisin, based in Gétigné, was able to recruit two bus drivers. “They are still in the company,” says Patrick Henry, the center manager. This is why these moments are never a waste of time. Our professions are undoubtedly known, but few know that they can be adapted to them. We put a lot of things in place to support candidates. » If the participants were cheerful, so were the organizers. This Thursday, October 3, France Travail is organizing an employment rally, in partnership with the Local Mission of the Nantes Vineyard: in trios, groups will go to companies in Aigrefeuille sur Maine to identify offers of employment. Always to bring the world of employment closer to those who do not have it.
