Theme 2024: the commercial function, the engine of social advancement

CDay, Commercial Talent Day, honors and promotes the millions of women and men who make up sales teams, drivers of business performance. Sales professions, among the most stressed professions, need new talents more than ever. This is why C Day aspires to inspire future talents to express themselves and flourish in our professions.
While in , 1.4 million young people are currently without employment or training (Insee, 2023), commercial professions represent an opportunity for professional integration, with prospects for advancement based on merit and results.

Eloquent figures:
– 35% of sales executives come from modest backgrounds, compared to 25% for all executives (INSEE study).
– The commercial sector offers faster career progression, with an internal promotion rate 15% higher than the national average (DARES report)
– 40% of sales executives started their careers in non-management positions, compared to only 25% in other sectors.

These figures demonstrate the unique ability of the sales function to offer opportunities for professional growth, regardless of social origins or initial academic background.
Vertical mobility which is explained by the very nature of the profession, where performance is measurable, recognized and valued.
Organized on November 14 throughout France, CDay, the commercial talent day organized by the DCF movement, offers several meetings, broadcast live on the federation's LinkedIn page:
