Weather in Quebec: it will be sunny where you live today

Quebecers will be able to benefit from the return of the sun and the upward trend in mercury starting this Thursday across most of the province, even if clouds could persist in Eastern Quebec.

In the southwest and center of the province, the weather will be fine and sunny with relatively comfortable temperatures for the season, according to Environment Canada.

Thus, in Montreal, no clouds should disrupt this feeling of almost summer-like good weather, even if temperatures will barely exceed 21 or 22 degrees.

The sun will also be omnipresent in areas of western Quebec where temperatures barely reaching 18 degrees are expected at midday.

The federal agency forecasts generally sunny weather with temperatures of 20 degrees in the center of the province, particularly in Quebec and Estrie.

On the other hand, the situation will be more nuanced in Eastern Quebec since the clouds will come to play spoilsport in the azure sky, according to the federal agency.

Even if the weather will be cloudier in certain areas a little further north, more prolonged clearings will be possible elsewhere, including Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie.

For Friday, generally sunny weather is anticipated with temperatures of 24 degrees in Montreal and 22 degrees in Quebec.
