Allassac. The Vézère film club in general assembly. The Vézère film club recently met in a general assembly in front of elected officials and members. The opportunity for those responsible for the association to take stock of the previous season.
In partnership with the municipality of Allassac, each session of the Pandora Ciné-club Vézère association requires specific technical preparation under the aegis of Annie Mournetas, culture assistant and treasurer of the association, surrounded by a group of volunteers. Affiliation with a national cinema structure makes it possible to research the rights and rental costs of films and thus establish a diversified program intended for an informed audience. “Our claim is to share the cultural life linked to the 7 e art combining authenticity and quality by bringing together an audience with common interests with cinema and eager to exchange and debate. The choice of films must have a very rich societal and historical interest,” explains Bernard Duroux, president of the Vézère film club.
Each screening is followed by a debate led by Bénédict Mossolin, cinema enthusiast and secretary of the association, dedicated to the theme, the actors, the genre and historical research directly linked to the film shown.
