Les Sables-d’Olonne Vendée. New Sablais event: the 2024 DANCE BIENNIAL
From May 22 to 26, 2024
This new festival of artistic and academic dance, offered by the ART.Y Company will welcome choreographers and dancers through masterclasses, shows, open stages, films and conferences, from May 22 to 26, 2024 in Les Sables d’Olonne.
A three-dimensional festival!
Artistic, academic, and oriented towards art and research.
Program
Meetings will be offered in different areas of the City:
– Court garden
– beach
– La Licorne room in Havre d’Olonne
– Music Conservatory…,
– but also within the partner schools of this first edition
(Ecole de la Pironnière, Ecole Georges Clemenceau, Collège Paul Langevin, Collège et Pierre Mauger, Lycée vocational Tabarly,
with the aim of raising students’ awareness of art and culture through dance.
Discovery of an artistic universe
Artists as well as dance associations of different styles and aesthetics, resident or located in Vendée, including Les Sables d’Olonne, or in Biarritz, will showcase their artistic universe.
Julie Fontès Trameçon, artistic director and choreographer of the ART.Y company, wishes to make this biennial a time of sharing and meeting which will combine quality and profusion of art through dance for all generations.
