Rabat – Morocco will take part in the work of the International Transport Forum (FIT) which will be held from May 22 to 24 in Leipzig, Germany, under the theme “Making transport more ecological: Staying focused in times of crisis (Greening Transport: Keeping Focus in Times of Crisis),” said the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.

Morocco will be represented at this summit by a high-level delegation, led by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil, and composed of representatives of the ministry and public establishments and companies under supervision, as well as other ministerial departments. and public and private organizations.

The Moroccan delegation will participate, for three days, in various ministerial sessions, round tables and conferences relating, among other things, to sustainable mobility, technological innovation, connectivity between different modes of transport, inclusion and accessibility, road safety, as well as infrastructure financing, the ministry said in a press release.

This event is intended to be an opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation with several FIT member countries, through the holding of meetings focused on strengthening cooperation ties in the field of transport in addition to sharing expertise and experience, explains the same Source, noting that the forum also constitutes an opportunity to present the Moroccan experience in the transport sector and to highlight its leadership on the African continent in this area.

Morocco is participating in this edition with a stand dedicated to promoting the 4th world ministerial conference on road safety, scheduled for February 18 to 20, 2025 in Marrakech.
