In this town near Cahors, the kindergarten will be transformed into a crèche

Next to Cahorsthe municipality of Mercuès has entrusted Vyv Terres d’Oc (formerly Mutualité française) with the management of “l’Eldorado des enfants”, its kindergarten for young from 18 months to 3 years. In this place of awakening, the child takes his first steps within a community, a real transition towards entering school.

Soon a 20-place crèche

The professionals who work there strive to establish a climate of trust with parents, promoting links between the family and the structure, in a caring spirit, respecting the child’s rhythm.

In order to better meet the strong needs of families to care for their children (and therefore contribute to the attractiveness of the region), Vyv Terres d’Oc is committed to develop this structure on the horizon of back to school 2025towards a multi-accommodation crèche with 20 cradlesable to accommodate children from 0 to 3 years old.

First extended hours

Initially, from September 2024, the opening hours of the kindergarten will be extended from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., to allow parents to optimize the organization of their day, and the number of opening weeks over the year will be increased.

Places are still available, including for occasional care: a flexible care solution, designed to provide a response to the occasional or temporary children’s needs of certain families while promoting the socialization of the child.

In the Lot, Vyv Terres d’Oc manages two structures: the Gribouille multi-reception crèche in Cahors and the L’Eldorado des enfants kindergarten in Mercuès.
