As an extension of the project supported in 2023, “Sport & Cinema, a story of struggles for human rights and freedom”, the Krysalide Diffusion association is setting up introductory workshops on documentary creation around the theme of sport , as well as a broadcast program over a large territory. The direct beneficiaries of the project are around sixty young people aged 15 to 18 from Tourcoing, Laon, Berck-sur-Mer and Abbeville.

“Second Wind” Festival in Amiens

Since 2016, Le Safran has been working hard on the link between arts, culture and sport. Entitled “Second Breath”, the seventh edition of the project addresses different sports through shows, exhibitions and participatory cultural actions, carried out for several months with partner structures (especially schools) and residents.

Part of the Cultural Olympiad, this project aims to introduce athletes to the world of art, to make the link between the two disciplines and to highlight the sporting values ​​of inclusion, participation and of collective.

The festival week will be punctuated by several highlights combining shows and exhibitions: inclusive dance show “En dix danses”, plastic arts, circus and freestyle football, “Olympic” dance and theater performance, performance of “Soli Mania”, etc.

In partnership with the 28e Comic strip event and as part of the “Amiens gets into the game!” » of Amiens Métropole and the Cultural Olympiad, the Maison de la culture d’Amiens is hosting the exhibition “Ping-Pong, it’s your turn! », which brings together the museographic work devoted to the album “La Diplomatie du ping-pong” by Alcante and Alain Mounier-Delcourt, a monumental fresco by mangaka Federica Di Meo which highlights women’s and Paralympic sport , portraits of sportspeople from the metropolis, a set of freely accessible ping-pong tables, a manga reading room, etc.

Around this exhibition, numerous activities will be offered: cinema screenings, activities by the table tennis association, “maga club” with the Amiens Métropole libraries, guided tours, etc.
