Travail, the Mission Locale Jeunes Grand , Cap Emploi 84, the DDETS and the UMIH 84 are joining forces to respond to the major challenge of recruitment in the hotel and catering sector by offering a pop-up restaurant at the Académie Provence (formerly the CCI Campus), a meeting space between recruiters and job seekers and practice for the latter.

On Wednesday October 23, the Brasserie Franck Gomez at the Académie Vaucluse Provence in Avignon will be transformed into a pop-up brasserie where a dozen job seekers will become waiters. This reverse job dating targeted at room service professions will allow them to receive recruiters, and not the other way around.

For the first time, this job dating will take place during the afternoon. Candidates will be able to put their skills and interpersonal skills into practice by preparing for lunch service. They will discover careers in the hotel and catering sector and will be able to transform this experience into a training or employment opportunity. A dozen business leaders or recruiters will be present to assess the skills and qualities of the candidates. The wholesaler Metro, in Avignon, which is a partner of the event, will provide quality products, from short circuits, and aprons.

Candidates will be welcomed from 8:15 a.m., then will be assigned their outfit and their partner, namely a tutor from the hotel school, at 8:45 a.m. The pop-up restaurant will open its doors at 12 p.m. Then, the jobdating part will begin at 2:30 p.m. The candidates will each sit at a table and the recruiters will go around to offer them their vacancies.
