The Saur du Tarn museum offers an Escape Game which consists of solving puzzles with a plot. The objective is to unlock mechanisms by allowing players to discover the industrial building classified as a historic monument.
This idea of creating an escape game was supported by the Friends of the Museum association. She always redoubles her desire to carry out projects to introduce the museum to as many people as possible. The project was entered into the Tarn participatory budget competition. It was the people of Tarn who voted and designated the victorious museum. He then created his game with the help of the Department’s grant and especially the help of Agnieszka Durosier from the Kreatelier company in Toulouse. She managed the design of the game by designing all the devices.

An opening of this game took place in the presence of Christophe Ramond, president of the Tarn, the mayors David Donna and Jean-Marc Farré, Claire Malroux, Eva Géraud, Agnieszka and the Friends of the Museum. Since June, this game has been a real success with already 27 escape games carried out with more than 300 people. The games room dates from 1898, it was closed to the public, since then it has been remodeled and made secure. “ The museum is a main player in the city and many Saint-Juériens do not know it… Above all, do not don’t forget that this game is intergenerational » specifies David Donna. “ We have a great partnership, Tarn, museum and the two municipalities. Congratulations to the leaders of this great project, which I hope will allow the arrival of a young audience. We have 23 cantons and the 2024 participatory budget already includes 170 projects, the public vote will be open from October 14 » adds Christophe Ramond.
An immersion in the world of Jules Verne
The museum’s Escape Game is an immersion into the world of Jules Verne. Simon, a worker, fell into a cauldron. To save him, players must find the time machine. Places are limited to six players per game, registration at 05 63 45 91 01.
