The Senegalese team, reigning African champions, is preparing to fly to Hurghada, Egypt, where the African Beach Soccer Cup of Nations will take place from October 19 to 26, 2024.
During this solemn ceremony, Ms. Gaye expressed her pride and confidence in the players, emphasizing the expectations placed on them to defend the continental title with honor. “You carry within you the hopes of an entire nation,” she declared, recalling the exceptional journey of the Lions who, for several years, have dominated the African beach soccer scene.
Under the leadership of their coach Ngalla Sylla, the Lions are preparing to face the best teams on the continent, with the firm intention of retaining their crown. This tournament in Egypt will be an opportunity for them to reaffirm their supremacy and proudly represent the colors of Senegal.
